Here are five patterns that work well with our 100 gr skeins of Cotton and Cotton/Silk. The first two patterns shown below use one skein, the remaining ones take 2 x 100 gr skeins.

Click on the name of the yarns to see the colors on our website. Our fingering weight Cotton and Cotton/Silk yarns both have 480 yards/100 gr and work equally well. Of course, the colorways used in the sample shawl can be substituted as they serve only as models. All of the sample shawls were knitted by Bitty. Thank you!!

Globemallow Shawl knitted in 1 x MAUVE (100 gr skein)

Globemallow (design by Romi Hill) is a medium-sized shawl that combines an easy garter-stitch portion with a beautiful lace section. We knitted the sample in 1 x 100 gr of MAUVE (100% cotton, fingering weight), which worked perfectly to show of the pretty lace design. Choose any skein of our Cotton or Cotton/Silk colorways to knit this shawl.

Sobriquet Shawl knitted in 1 x DALI (100 gr skein)

Sobriquet (design by Romi Hill) is another medium-sized shawl that works perfectly with one 100 gr skein. For Sobriquet we used DALI, one of our Cotton/Silk colors. DALI is available HERE; find more of our silk colors HERE.

Leptira Shawl knitted in 2 x MELANGE (2 x 100 gr skeins of the same color)

The pattern “Leptira” (design by Romi Hill) is available for free on knitty.com This gorgeous lace shawl uses 2 x 100 gr skeins of the same color; Bitty knitted the sample in MELANGE (100% cotton fingering weight), but any of our Cotton or Cotton/Silk colorways would work equally well.

Ombra E Luce Shawl knitted in 1 x BREEZE and 1 x FRESH MEDLEY (1 x 100 gr skein in each color)

Ombra E Luce (design by Tiziana Sammuri) is a shawl that combines lace and bead work. Bitty used two gradient colorways (1 x BREEZE and 1 x FRESH MEDLEY), 100 gr skeins of our fingering weight cotton yarn, as well as 6/0 beads (2 tubes). We have yarn kits available HERE. The beads are not included.

Myr Shawl knitted in 1 x SUN TONAL and 1 x FOLIAGE (1 x 100 gr skein in each color)

The pattern “Myr” (design by Alma Beck) is available for free on knitty.com Myr is an easy pattern that looks pretty - and very different - on either side. Bitty used two gradient colorways, 1 x SUN TONAL and 1 x FOLIAGE, one 100 gr skein in each color. We have kits for this color combination HERE.
